City to open all wading pools on revised schedule
by Lee Voss, WJON.com

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Parks Department is inviting neighborhoods out to a public discussion tomorrow (Thursday) night to talk about the wading pools.

Parks Supervisor John Anderson says the good news is that they are expecting to open all seven of the city's pools this summer. The drawback is that they will have a revised wading pool season.

Anderson says they have a tentative schedule of June 15th through August 8th for Seberger, Centennial, Southside and Hester Parks while Pantown, Spalt and Rotary Parks would be open from June 22nd through August 15th.

The pool hours would be from 1:00-to-7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Anderson says they have a better handle on this year's budget...allowing them to have all of the pools open.

The city wants the neighborhoods to come out to the meeting to give ideas and also to see if there are ways to work with the residents to keep them open more.

The meeting starts at 6:30 at the Lake George Municipal Park.
