Pederson gets GOP nod for Senate District 15

ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud City Councilman has received the Republican endorsement for Minnesota Senate District 15.

John Pederson was unanimously chosen by Republican delegates at their meeting Thursday night.

Pederson is running for the seat currently held by Democrat Tarryl Clark who is running for 6th District Congress.

Pederson works at Amcon Block and Precast in St. Cloud and has served on the St. Cloud City Council since 2007.

Senate District 15 covers the communities of St. Cloud, Waite park, Rockville and St. Augusta.
