Thunderstorms down trees, knock out power

UNDATED -- Another round of severe weather ripped through Central Minnesota late yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and early evening.
Most of the damage from the storms was from strong winds. There were winds gusts over 70 miles an hour reported just north of St. Cloud -- downing trees and tree branches. East Central Energy had a power outage due to the storm. About 1,500 members in the Milaca to North Branch area lost power because of broken poles.
East Central Energy says power has been restored to all of their customers. However, if you're still without power this morning you can give them a call at 1-800-254-7944.
The official rainfall total at the St. Cloud Regional Airport was .76-inches.
