Police arrest man spotted doing "donuts" in intersection

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park police arrested a 24-year-old St. Cloud man, after he lead them on a short chase.

At about 4:00 this (Thursday) morning, officers say Joshua Wiemer doing a 'donut' at the intersection of Highway 23 and 28th Avenue.

Wiemer's vehicle blew a tire as it went up on a curb. He was eventually stopped and taken into custody.

The entire pursuit lasted about 1 1/2 miles.
