Weekend tour to feature local gardeners

UNDATED -- Area folks with a green thumb will be featured during a tour this weekend. 

This year's 12th annual "Summer Garden Tours" will benefit the GREAT theatre in St. Cloud. Spokeswoman Diane Hansgen says the tour will start in Sartell and wind it's way down to St. Cloud.

Hansgen says all of the gardens are unique and created by the homeowner, not a landscaper.

The tours will start tomorrow (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. Then, on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Hansgen says you can purchase tickets at Thompson's Green House, Byerly's, the GREAT studios and Mississippi Bean Company all in St. Cloud.

The ticket is good for both days, and comes with a map and directions to the featured gardens on the tour.
