St. Cloud council candidate withdraws from race

ST. CLOUD -- One of the candidates who was planning on running for St. Cloud city council has withdrawn her name. 

Brianda Cediel has decided not to run. 

That's leaves five candidates vying for three at-large seats. 

They are the the three current members: Jeff Goerger, George Hontos, and John C. Pederson. 

The other two that are running are Todd Malcom and former council member Sonja Hayden Berg. 

All five will be on the November ballot, the top three vote getters will win seats on the council. 

The deadline to withdraw from a race is today (Thursday).
