MnSCU board OKs chancellor pay raise

ST. PAUL -- The chancellor of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is getting a raise.
The MnSCU Board of Trustees has approved a $20,000 pay increase for Chancellor James McCormick. It's effective July 1st.
McCormick's annual salary will be $360,000. He also received a bonus of $23,500 for achieving performance goals.
McCormick became head of the Minnesota system in 2001 after holding a similar position in Pennsylvania.
MnSCU oversees the St. Cloud Technical College and St. Cloud State University.
