ST. CLOUD --The first set of graduates to complete a new police-training program at St. Cloud State University received their certificates today (Friday).

Thirty-eight young people have been responding to domestic assault cases, dealing with drunk drivers and conducting traffic stops over the past 10 weeks.

Many local Police officers taught these folks the skills needed to take the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training Licensure test in August.

The Alexandria Technical College has made this program possible at SCSU.
