Power goes out twice to 280 in SE Sauk Rapids

SAUK RAPIDS -- The power went out not once, but twice for some 280 East Central Energy customers in Southeast Sauk Rapids.

A spokeswoman says the power was out for over an hour in the first outage after a tree went down on a line.

Then another line went down, affecting the same 280 customers.

The spokeswoman says the second outage was restored just before 3.  But she says if your power is still out and you're an ECE customer, call 1-800-254-7944 and make sure ECE knows about it.
