Work on rebuilding Pirate's Cove supper club planned for September
by Lee Voss, WJON.com

BENTON COUNTY -- A fine dining restaurant and bar along the Mississippi River that burned down nearly 10 years ago could be open for business by Mother's Day 2009.

Pirate's Cove co-owner Mike Dols says they plan to start construction on re-building the supper club in September.

He says they will have a three-section banquet room for up to 450 people, main dining room and larger lounge. Dols says they will also expand the menu to accomodate both fine dining customers and those who are looking for burger baskets.

Dols says they will also have 30 boat slips for people who want to come by boat. The Pirate's Cove will also still have outdoor dining and bar as part of the new design.
