MPCA fines two central Minnesota businesses

ST. PAUL -- Two area businesses have been fined by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in the second quarter of this year.
The M-P-C-A has fined Sartell Water Controls $4,725 for hazardous waste violations. R-Way Pumpers in Melrose was fined $4,750 for feedlot violations.
The businesses were part of 37 enforcement cases between April and June of this year.
All told, the M-P-C-A collected $325-thousand in fines over that time period.
