Franken to campaign in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- U-S Senate candidate Al Franken will be making a campaign stop in St. Cloud tomorrow (Thursday).

He'll be at Mississippi Bean & Tea on West St. Germain Street from 1:15 until 2:15 p.m.

Franken is the D-F-L endorsed candidate for the U-S Senate.

But he does face six other Democratic candidates in the September primary -- includingPriscilla Lord Faris.

The other candidates are:  Rob Fitzgerald, Alve Erickson, Dick Fransen, Bob Larsen, and Ole Savior.

The winner will most likely take on incumbent Republican Norm Coleman and former Senator Independent Dean Barkley in November.
