Sartell man critically hurt in collision with deer

CAMP RIPLEY -- A 74-year-old Sartell man is in critical condition, after hitting a deer with his motorcycle. 

The State Patrol says the incident happened just after 1:00 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon on Highway 115 west of Camp Ripley.

John Pekarek was heading west when two deer ran out in front of him.

He was flown to North Memorial Medical Center in Robinsdale.
