A chance to trade in your lead tackle
by Megan Rinerson, WJON.com

WAITE PARK -- Anglers, you can get free non-lead sinkers and jigs tomorrow.

Again this year, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources are partnering with retailers to reduce to amount of lead tackle ending up in lakes.

Tomorrow, the Scheels store in Waite Park will be offering a lead exchange from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

You can bring in your old lead tackle and swap it for jigs and weights made from other materials including steel and tin.
