Environment savvy kids to compete

ARIZONA -- Some local high school students will be representing Minnesota in an environmental education competition.

A group from St. Johns Prep will be competing in the National Canon Envirothon tomorrow in Arizona.
Those competing are John Jacobs of St. Cloud, Mathew Brutger of St. Cloud, Tyler Stone of Avon, Ryan Culligan of Avon, and Madeline Franz of Albany.

The Envirothon tests student's knowledge of wildlife, forestry, aquatics and current environmental issues.
