New Munich man dies after farm accident

NEW MUNICH -- A New Munich man is dead after a farm accident Saturday.

Stearns County Sheriff's officials say 66-year-old Norman Wieling was found unresponsive in a barn just before noon.

Officers started C-P-R and Wieling was taken to Melrose Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies later learned Wieling was working on the silo unloader when he fell down the chute and was hit by a silo door.
