Learn about a plan to clean-up Little Rock Lake

SAUK RAPIDS -- Homeowners living along Little Rock Lake in Benton County can learn more about a plan to clean-up the lake.

The Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District will host an informational meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School.

Spokeswoman Annie Felix says there's a lot less blue-green algae on the lake this year, compared to last year.

Felix says the lake is better this year, because this summer has not been as hot and dry as it was last year.

She says they began studying the lake in June, and will continue until 2010.

If you'd like to learn more about the project, the meeting starts at 7:00 tomorrow night.
