Former Sartell teacher takes over at Talahi Elementary

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud School District has named the new principal for Talahi Elementary.

Former Sartell elementary teacher Jason Scherber will lead the school.

Scherber taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Sartell for 10 years, before taking a job in Hopkins last year.

Former Talahi principal Virginia Riser retired last December.

Shawn Gombos finished last school year as the interim principal.

Earlier this year, assistant Tech principal Lori Lockhart was appointed to take over the job at Talahi, but she took a job in Moorhead.
