Drunk driver involved in hit and run crash

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud police arrested a man after he was involved in a crash yesterday (Monday) afternoon.

The incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Memorial Drive and 8th Street South.

Police say 51-year-old John Uberecken left the scene before they arrived.

He was found a short distance away and was arrested for hit-and-run, and 4th degree D-W-I.

The woman in the other vehicle was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries.
