Share your Minnesota State Fair story

UNDATED -- There's a new website where you can go and share your State Fair memories.

The Minnesota Historical Society has teamed-up with the State Fair to create the site.

Spokeswoman Brienna Schuette says a recent poll showed more than two-thirds of Minnesotans have been to the State Fair.

About 1.7 million people attend the fair each year.  Minnesota's State Fair is still the 2nd largest in the country. The only State Fair that's larger is the one in Texas. However, their fair lasts for a whole month, while ours is just 12-days.

This year's State Fair runs August 21st through Labor Day.
