MPCA lifts air quality warning for Minnesota
by The Associated Press
ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has canceled the air pollution health advisory issued on Tuesday for the southern two-thirds of the state that was to run through
Saturday.
The agency says the move was prompted by changes in the weather that will bring moderate, dry winds from the north which should help clear the air.
The Thursday through Friday forecast includes a weak cold front with light winds.
The initial advisory covered the Twin Cities, Rochester, St. Cloud, Duluth and the Brainerd lakes area.
