Watkins man arrested after high-speed chase

COLD SPRING -- A 20-year-old Watkins man lead authorities on a high speed chase yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

A Stearns County Sheriff's Deputy allegedly spotted Gary Lutgen going about 90 miles an hour on his motorcycle on County Road 2 in Wakefield Township.

When he spotted the deputy, he sped-up reaching 100 miles an hour, and passing two vehicles in a no-passing zone.

However, they finally caught up with him in Cold Spring.

He's been arrested for fleeing a police officer.
