UPDATE: Sheriff: 8th victim of Minn. plane crash has died, 1 still missing
by The Associated Press

OWATONNA -- Authorities say the death toll has risen to eight in a business jet crash in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Steele County Sheriff Gary Ringhofer says the eighth victim died in a hospital from injuries suffered in the crash Thursday morning.

Ringhofer says one person is still unaccounted for.

Authorities earlier were looking for two people, but said they weren't sure if those two had ever been on the plane.

Ringhofer says authorities have since learned that at least one of those two was NOT on the flight.

The Raytheon Hawker 800 was a charter from Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Owatonna when it went down about 9:30 a.m.
