Cuddyer to return Friday
MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins rightfielder Michael Cuddyer is expected to come off the disabled list Friday when the Twins begin a 3-game series at Texas against the Rangers.
Cuddyer has been on the disabled list since early April with a dislocated and lacerated index finger.
Cuddyer played rightfield in Fort Myers Tuesday and could be ready to return to be more than just the designated hitter on Friday night.
Cuddyer opened the season as the #3 hitter in the lineup and will likely return to that role.
