Rangers Rout Twins

The Twins lost 10-0 at Texas in the rubber game of the 3-game series against the Rangers.  

Vincente Padilla threw the complete game 7-hit shutout with 2 walks allowed.  He gets the win to improve to 3-2.  

Livan Hernandez threw 2 2/3 innings with 9 hits and 7 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 3-1.  

Brendan Harris had 2 hits for the Twins.  

Minnesota falls to 11-14 and into a 3rd place tie in the American League Central with Kansas City.  

The Twins will host the White Sox Tuesday night beginning a 2-game series at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  

Righthander Boof Bonser (1-4) gets the start on the mound for the Twins while righthander Gavin Floyd toes the rubber for the White Sox.
