Vikings Select Booty and 3 Others Sunday in NFL Draft

The Vikings moved up in the 5th round to select USC quarterback John David Booty before picking defensive tackle Letroy Guion of Florida State. 

In the 6th round the Vikings picked center John Sullivan of Notre Dame before taking receiver Jaymar Johnson of Jackson State. 

To get John David Booty with the 2nd pick of the 5th round the Vikings gave Green Bay their 7th round pick and their higher of the two 5th rounder. 

The Vikings lone pick Saturday was a 2nd round safety Tyrell Johnson of Arkansas State.  

Scouts say John David Booty is best suited to play in a West Coast offense, which the Vikings run.
