Beavers star getting shot with Vikings
by The Associated Press

BEMIDJI -- A small-college football player from Minnesota is getting a tryout with the Vikings.

Anthony Schreiber of Bemidji State will take part in a rookie mini-camp this weekend at Vikings headquarters. Many undrafted rookies will be at the tryout in the hopes of getting an invitation to training camp in August.

Schreiber caught 56 catches and scored 11 touchdowns for the Beavers last year and is Bemidji State's career leading receiver.

He also led the Northern Sun conference in punt return average and scored two touchdowns.
