Morneau putting up solid numbers

MINNEAPOLIS -- After 25 games, Minnesota slugger Justin Morneau is putting up some solid numbers.

The big firstbaseman is tied for the American League lead in homers with six and tied for third in RBIs with 21.

Two seasons ago, Morneau was the AL MVP.

Meanwhile, Twins centerfielder Carlos Gomez is leading the AL with 10 steals while Joe Nathan is fourth in saves with 7.
