MINNEAPOLIS -- The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added another state to its expanding reach.
The UFC will come to Minnesota for the first time this summer, when hometown heavyweight hopeful Brock Lesnar competes in the main event against Mark Coleman on August ninth as part of ``UFC 87: Seek and Destroy'' at Target Center.
UFC President Dana White says the Twin Cities provides a huge market of fans.
Lesnar is a former University of Minnesota wrestler who trains in the Twin Cities. He lost his UFC debut in February to defending champion Frank Mir.
On the undercard, former Augsburg wrestler Roger Huerta (WHERE'-tuh) will face Kenny Florian in a lightweight fight.
