Backstrom makes 36 saves as Finland wins bronze at hockey worlds

QUEBEC CITY -- Minnesota Wild goalie Nicklas Backstrom made 36 saves as Finland beat Sweden 4-0 for the bronze medal at the World Hockey Championship in Canada.
Antti Pihlstrom scored twice while Mikko Koivu (MEE'-koh KOY'-voo) of the Minnesota Wild had an empty-net goal for the Finns. Janne Niskala also scored for Finland, which was outshot 36-13.
Canada and Russia play for the gold medal today.
