The NBA draft lottery took place Tuesday night in Seecaucus, New Jersey and the Timberwolves earned the 3rd pick in June 26th draft.  The Wolves had a 14 percent chance of landing the #1 overall pick.  Chicago had just a 1.7 percent chance of getting the #1 pick and they got it, Miami will pick second.  Kansas State forward Michael Beasley and Memphis point gurad Derek Rose are expected to be drafted first and 2nd with the 3rd pick a little more difficult to predict.  The Wolves have never improved their position in the draft lottery and did not lose a position this year.
