Injured Haas withdraws from 3M Championship

BLAINE -- Champions Tour points leader Jay Haas has withdrawn from the 3M Championship because of a hamstring injury.

Hass finished one stroke behind champion D.A. Weibring in last year's 3M tourney. By withdrawing he avoids potentially aggravating his injury during a pivotal stretch on the Champions Tour schedule.

The first round of the 3M Championship is tomorrow at the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine.
