Zierden to miss Lynx game against Houston

HOUSTON -- Lynx head coach Don Zierden will miss today's game against Houston, because of illness.

Zierden didn't travel with the Lynx to Houston and instead stayed in Minnesota. Assistant Julie Plank will take over coaching duties for today's game.

Tipoff is at 11 a.m. Central time at Reliant Arena. Minnesota is 10-10 while the Comets are 9-12. The Lynx defeated the Comets 85-71 four days ago at Target Center.

Zierden is expected to rejoin the team when the Lynx travel to San Antonio to take on the Silver Stars on Saturday night.
