Lynx coach to miss second straight game due to illness
by The Associated Press

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Minnesota Lynx head coach Don Zierden will today's game against the San Antonio Silver Stars. It's the second game in a row he'll miss due to illness.

Zierden missed Thursday's game against the Houston Comets, who won the game 96-88.

Assistant coach Julie Plan, who assumed the head coaching duties for Thursday's game, will again coach the team against the Silver Stars.

Zierden is expected to re-join the team at home and resume his coaching duties when the Lynx take on the Seattle Storm on Tuesday at Target Center.

Today's game in San Antonio begins at 7 p.m.
