MN Broadcasting HOF to induct Twins voice Gordon
by The Associated Press

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Museum of Broadcasting will induct Minnesota Twins radio play-by-play voice John Gordon into its Hall of Fame at an October ceremony.

Gordon has worked with the Twins for 22 seasons. He formed a memorable tandem with Herb Carneal for many of those years. Gordon's first season here was in 1987, when Kirby Puckett and the Twins made a memorable run to their first World Series championship.

Twins fans across the region know that summer has officially started when they hear Gordon's signature ``touch 'em all'' home run call over the radio waves.

Gordon is one of six members being inducted this year. The ceremony will be held on Oct. 11 at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley.
