Ex-Gopher Tollackson to take game to Germany
by The Associated Press

MINNEAPOLIS -- Former Gophers basketball player Spencer Tollackson has decided to take his game overseas.

Tollackson has signed a contract with a professional team in Paderborn, Germany, and will begin competing there in September.

After leading Chaska High School to a state championship and receiving the Minnesota Player of the Year Award from The Associated Press in 2004, Tollackson started 64 of the 119 games he played in at the University.

The 6-foot-9 center finished with the school's sixth-best career shooting percentage, 52.5.
