National Guard finds its missing door

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota National Guard is back in possession of its wayward helicopter door.

One of the Guard's Chinook helicopters lost a door in flight Tuesday afternoon. The door was found Wednesday morning by Guard searchers near Lower Afton Road in Maplewood.

The Guard says the door was found in a grassy field, and no one was hurt by it. No property was damaged, either.

The Guard says it's working with the Army to figure out why the door came off.
