Franken says focus is on Coleman
by The Associated Press

MINNEAPOLIS -- U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken says a primary challenge from a fellow DFLer won't stop him from focusing his attention on Senator Norm Coleman.

Franken commented for the first time on the candidacy of Priscilla Lord Faris, who is an attorney and the daughter of former state Attorney General Miles Lord.

Lord Faris says she agrees with Franken on the issues but thinks Democrats should be concerned that Franken won't be able to beat the Republican incumbent.

Franken says anyone is entitled to run in the September Democratic primary, but says ``this is going to come down to me and Norm Coleman'' in November.
