St. Paul girl dies after TV falls on her

ST. PAUL -- Police say a 2-year-old St. Paul girl has died after a television accidentally fell on her.

Family members say the girl was trying to get some clothes out of a dresser after taking a bath late Saturday night when a 27-inch TV set on top of the dresser slid off and fell on her.

The girl, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to Regions Hospital. The Ramsey County medical examiner's office says she died Tuesday at the hospital.

Police are investigating, but a police spokesman says there's no indication ``the parents did anything wrong or neglectful.''
