Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your family:
I have been married to my wife Cindy and we celebrated our 30th Aniversary this past May. We have two grown children. Eric is a teacher in the Shakoppe School District and Ashley is a Certified Vetrinarian Techniciann in Hutchinson. I have lived in the Cold Spring area all my life. I am presently the Assistant Fire Chief for the Fire and Rescue Department in Cold Spring and have been a member for 18 years.

Why did you decide to run for this office?
To continue to serve the citizens of Cold Spring.

What experience do you have that prepares you for public office?
I was elected to the Council in 2002. Elected Mayor in 2004 and re-elected Mayor in 2006.

Top three issues you would tackle, if elected? 
1: The redevelopment of the Granite Company property.
2: Keep spending in check.
3: Make sure that current businesses are kept in the fore front of any redevelopment of properties in the downtown.
