Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family
Resident of Rice for 46 yrs.
Attended Willmar Community Collage / Willmar Area Technical Institute for Business Management.
Proprietor of the Rice Blacksmith Saw & Machine shop since 1984.
I am married with 2 grown children.

What experiences do you have that prepares you for the job.
I have co-owned and operated my own business for 25 yrs.  I have already served this community by being appointed to and serving for several years  on the Rice Rec board, the Rice Planning and zoning commission . Have also been a member on the Rice Fire Dept for 10 yrs.

Why did you decide to run for this office?
I want to see the City of Rice have a strong sense of community once again.  I want to give back to the community that has given me and my family so much.

Top three issues facing the city.
All the issues I would like to tackle, or even list would fall under one heading . Having the good residents of Rice understand, this is there community. They as individuals need to have there ideas heard . They also need to take part, be active in making this community there Home for both them and there family. When this is accomplished, along with a responsible City council the possibilities within this community are endless.
