68 years old Married 45 years To Joyce G. Hall 3 son's Fred Jr , James , Patrick. Graduated Sauk Rapids High School 1958. Joined United States Marine Corp served 4 years Honorably discharged 1962. Employed Dezuik Corp 1962 to Dec 1998 36 years, 20-year member Machinist Union, Many years as Chief Union Steward, and One year as Vice President of Local 623. Promoted to shop foreman 1981 Advanced to Maintance Foreman and then to General Foreman of Maint. Retired Dec 1998 36 + years of service. Hobbies camping, Fishing, Hunting, Gardening, Reading, and traveling.
What experience do you have that prepares you for public office?
As a union official I was evolved with contract negotiations and represented union members with many different problems. As a Foreman I supervised 3 shifts of Maint, and Foundry personnel and dealt with many problems both company and personal
Why did you decide to run for this office?
Top three issues you would tackle, if elected?
As a councilman, I would strive to hold down or Reduce taxes, try hard to bring some common sense to city government, and strive to involve more individuals in city government. I also served many years as a Benton Co. Special Deputy Sheriff and Rice police Officer. would appreciate your Vote in Nov.
