Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your family.
Moved to Rockville 5 years ago from St. Cloud with my husband Scott and two daughters.

What experiences do you have that prepares you for public office?
4 years on planning commission for the city of Rockville, last year as chairwoman.

Why you decided to run for this office?
I feel the city needs a represenative who is in touch with their day to day concerns. I pride myself in listening to their questions and responding with a "common sense" finding.

Top three issues you would tackle, if elected.
1. Follow through the focus of our consolidation agreement
2. Keeping the "Rural" feel of our city but enable growth and development in the correct areas
3. Give city staff the tools they need to do their job in an effective manner
